We have tested plate diameters ranging from 4" to 10.5" and found that our regular rack can secure any size plates as long as the plate edge fits into the slots. Even soup plates with bolder edges can fit in the rack as long as the edge angle from a side view is around 20 degrees or more.

Most plates have rounded or flat edges, and our regular rack is suitable for rounded plates with an angle of approximately more than 20 degrees. For plates with flat edges, we recommend checking out our flat rack from the product listing. Some small plates with relatively short edges can also be accommodated in our dish rack using the spacer to hold the bottom of the plate.
